Palapye Quarries (Pty) Ltd is a duly incorporated company registered in Botswana and currently operating an industrial minerals quarry in Palapye. Its current core products are dolorite, crushed building stone, sand, stone dust, and various particulate size building materials. It supplies a variety of customers in the construction and civil works fields across the country.

The company is at the peak of its operations in both extraction and first level processing of mined products, which include crushing, cleaning and mixing of particulate products. We have the capability to undertake stone polishing, surface smoothing and production of moulded products like bricks, pavers, tiles and similar roads and buildings related products.

BACKGROUND
The company commenced its quarry operations in Palapye more than a decade ago and has been supplying various customers with essential aggregates and construction materials for civil works, mining railway tracks and general buildings and construction works. These products are always in high demand both within the individuals, companies and corporate customers. There is also a growing demand for processed stone products, concrete mixes and moulded products such as bricks, pavers, kerbstones, tiles and various pre-case concrete structures that is currently met mainly by foreign controlled entities. Palapye Quarries has made plans to enter into an enhanced operational phase in which it produces these various building materials. Our 2020-2025 Strategy reflects these intentions and our preparations in this regard are advanced.
